Sitting at the gateway of MidCity District, The Camp is Huntsville’s coolest outdoor destination. What is The Camp?! The Camp is a fully functioning bar and restaurant with live music and entertainment every night. The Camp is also home to Greenroom Coffee Shop and Tamarind Island Grille, two exceptional dining and beverage experiences that utilize The Camp grounds for dining and enjoyment.

Still want more? The Camp is home to The Market at MidCity, a weekly farmers market hosted every Sunday, March - November from 12-4 pm in our parking lot.

  • You can find us at 5909 University Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35805. Located right on the corner of classic HYW 72 and MidCity Drive, we sit in front of the Topgolf at MidCity. For you Huntsville OGs, The Camp sits at the former Lonestar Steakhouse spot in front of the former Madison Square Mall.

  • We switch up the menus & hours based on the season so be sure to check out the Food + Drink page to check out what're serving up as of late!

  • Absolutely! We love our furry friends. Just make sure to keep them on a leash.

  • Heck yeah! You don't even need to put them on a leash (just kidding)! There are lots of great things for kids to do at The Camp. Just keep an eye on them or we'll give them extra candy.

  • As an all outdoor venue, if the weather forecasts calls for heavy rain, we will send updates on facebook and on our Instagram story.

  • We have lots of availbale parking around The Camp, but sometimes with special events parking may get full. Our overflow parking is in the North end of the TopGolf parking lot and the head-in parking along the streets on MidCity Drive. Please DO NOT park at the Holiday Inn parking lot. They tend to not like that.Item description

  • Why bring your own food when we have some of the best food in all of the 256? We'd prefer that you just come and enjoy The Camp food trucks, bar, and coffee shop menu options. We don't allow outside food and drinks. Thanks!
